Patient Care Technician-Wound Care Clinic Casual Days
Under the supervision of an RN performs basic patient care activities. Responsibilities include performing basic nursing care activities, assisting patients with personal care and activities of daily living, reporting abnormal findings, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. This position is casual (non-benefited) day shift, with hours generally falling between 6:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., generally 8-hour shifts. No holidays.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, certification as a nursing assistant, medical assistant, or emergency medical technician, or nursing school students with one semester of clinical completed, and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS). Preferred qualifications include phlebotomy experience and graduation from an accredited nursing assistant program or phlebotomy course.
