Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Location: Ohio

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse with at least 18 months of recent experience in emergency nursing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, including the ability to perform assessments, establish care plans, and execute patient interventions. You will be required to demonstrate expertise in using electronic health record systems, particularly Epic, and maintain certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Perform assessments, identify patient needs, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Epic electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department experience.
• 18 months combined permanent experience in nursing required, preferably in one location.
• Permanent Ohio nursing license or compact license in hand required at the time of submission.
• Active certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required.
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
