Located on the Gulf of Mexico, the Galveston Island Hilton Hotel features an outdoor pool surrounded by tropical landscapes, poolside dining and rooms with flat-screen TVs. Every room at the Hilton Galveston Island Resort includes a coffee maker, satellite TV and compact refrigerator. Upscale amenities include a bathrobe and slippers. Guests can order evening room service and there is a seating area in each room. Some rooms offer a balcony overlooking the ocean. The Room Attendant at the Galveston Island Hilton is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests.
Qualification Standards
Education & Experience:- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
