This role is responsible for driving strategic alignment, elevating the quality of retail execution and communications, and strengthening long-term partnership value between Chevrolet and Martin Retail Group, with oversight of Chevrolet Tier 2 media, partnering closely with the media team to ensure strategic alignment and integrated, flawless execution across markets and channels.The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking, executive presence and operational excellence, with the ability to anticipate client needs, navigate a complex stakeholder environment and translate business priorities into clear, actionable plans that drive measurable impact.ResponsibilitiesClient Responsibilities:Serve as a senior strategic partner and primary point of contact for Chevrolet Retail client leadership, including Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations and executive stakeholders.Lead ongoing client engagement through structured working sessions and executive-level interactions, ensuring alignment, clarity and forward momentum.Actively build and strengthen trusted relationships across the Chevrolet client organization, field organization and broader retail ecosystem.Provide strategic POV and guidance on retail performance, market dynamics and growth opportunities through collaboration with MRG field, media, analytics and communications teams.Partner with Media leadership to align Chevrolet Tier 2 media strategy with retail priorities, marketplace needs and measurable business outcomes.Anticipate emerging client needs, business issues and opportunities, proactively mobilizing agency resources and bringing forward clear recommendations.Support executive and dealer communications, ensuring clarity, alignment and consistency in how strategies and priorities are conveyed.Lead high-impact client discussions, bringing clear recommendations and driving alignment on key decisions.Translate client priorities into actionable direction for internal teams, ensuring alignment from strategy through execution.Partner with the Analytics team on the performance narrative connecting media and retail activity to business outcomes.Connect Chevrolet national priorities and Tier 1 activity with Tier 2 Zone and LMA media and field execution, ensuring strategies are fully integrated across tiers and actionable in local markets.Provide senior oversight and guidance for the team’s Chevrolet leadership communications and operating cadences, ensuring business priorities are translated into clear narratives, decisions and actions for client, agency and field stakeholders.Ensure dealer needs and Martin Retail Group value creation remain at the core of all strategies and solutions.Agency Responsibilities:Lead cross-functional coordination across Account, Media, Analytics, Field, Communications and Production, providing senior oversight to ensure Tier 2 media planning and execution are integrated with broader Chevrolet retail priorities and delivered to a high standard. Translate client priorities into clear direction for internal teams, establishing alignment on expectations, strategic objectives and the highest-impact opportunities. Partner closely with Field, Media, Analytics and Communications leadership to align headquarters strategy with local-market execution, surface dependencies and resolve issues. Drive consistency and quality across strategic thinking, communications, performance storytelling and overall delivery. Provide account-level oversight of Tier 2 media operations, partnering with Media leadership to monitor alignment, timelines, budgets, deliverables, partner responsibilities and escalation needs. Provide senior oversight of key communication and operational initiatives, helping teams maintain coordination, remove barriers and ensure follow-through. Foster accountability, proactivity and continuous improvement across the account team and cross-functional partners. Identify opportunities to strengthen and expand MRG’s value to the client by connecting capabilities and resources across the organization.QualificationsSkills:Strong strategic and business acumen, with the ability to anticipate business needs, navigate complex priorities and develop clear, actionable recommendations tied to measurable outcomes. Executive presence and exceptional communication skills, including the ability to lead high-stakes conversations and deliver compelling presentations, storytelling and written communications. Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams, build consensus and influence stakeholders without direct authority. Strong understanding of retail performance drivers, integrated media strategy, the Tier 2 media ecosystem, measurement and market dynamics; automotive retail experience is strongly preferred. Experience using data and insights to develop performance narratives and translate findings into meaningful business recommendations. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining clarity, focus and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
