Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.Basic QualificationsBachelors degree in an Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related subject area, or equivalent experienceExperience with one or more Systems Engineering functions including:a)System trade studies, CONOPS, and/or System modelingb) Requirements, Interface Control Document (ICD), or Interface Definition Document (IDD) developmentc) System Integration, Fault Management, Test and/or Verificationd) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies• Ability to Obtain TS/SCI.
