This opportunity is perfect for someone looking to pick up additional hours while becoming part of a practice that is actively growing and expanding!

Schedule

1 Day Per Week to Start Now Beginning in January, February, and March, we are seeking coverage for: Mondays and any Additional weekday availability is highly preferred and appreciated as needed As our practice continues to grow with the addition of a third doctor, this position has the potential to expand into a full-time opportunity if desired. If you prefer to remain part-time, we are happy to discuss that option as well!

What We're Looking For

• Licensed Dental Hygienist (or eligible for licensure in New York)
• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Team-oriented and positive attitude

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
