Physical Therapist
A patient walks in with pain, stiffness, weakness, or limited movement. Your job is to help them understand what's happening, rebuild function, and move through life with more confidence.
That's the heart of this Physical Therapist role in a PT-owned orthopedic outpatient office in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
This clinic treats 2 patients per hour, allowing Physical Therapists to stay engaged in each patient's recovery. The schedule is flexible, with either a 4-day work schedule or MondayFriday, 9:00 AM5:00 PM available.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate patients and identify movement limitations
- Build treatment plans for orthopedic and outpatient rehab needs
- Treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, chronic pain, and mobility issues
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, balance work, gait training, and functional activities
- Help patients understand progress, setbacks, and home program expectations
- Adjust treatment plans as patients improve
- Document care clearly and accurately
- Work with PTAs to keep treatment aligned with each plan of care
