Friends In Action Clubhouse Driver

Tasks would include driving clubhouse members to and from the Friends in Action Clubhouse as well as taking members to and from work. Needing staff to be flexible with scheduling. Behavioral health experience is a plus! Part time - 24 hours a week. Timeframe would fluctuate between 2p-8p Monday through Friday. Weekend and holiday rotation. Benefit eligible. Must have a Class E license.

BJC Behavioral Health is a community health center that provides and coordinates behavioral health services for more than 8,000 seriously mentally ill adults and seriously emotionally disturbed children in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Francois, Iron and Washington counties. As an Administrative Agent of the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by DMH and is responsible for serving as gatekeeper to the public mental health system.

Psychosocial rehab services are primarily delivered in a group setting. These services develop, support and optimize the quality of life and functional abilities of people with serious and persistent mental illnesses.

Role Purpose: Operates an assigned motor vehicle for the safe and timely transportation of passengers, materials, specimens, mail, and other cargo used in the course of hospital and client business.

Responsibilities:

• Provides timely transportation, pick-up and delivery services.
• Ensures timely arrival and departure by following program schedule.
• Advises supervisor and team if unable to follow schedule.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

• Less than 2 years

Supervisor Experience:

• No Experience

Licenses & Certifications:

• Class E Driver's License in MO
