About the role TheMicrosoft+ServicesAlliances teamis responsible forbuilding,maintaining, and managing deeply rooted and trusted partner relationshipsandoptimalsolutions co-sell withpartners such as Databricks, and open-source solutions –i.e.GitHub, Hashi, and Redis.We are looking for a partner business development manager withDatabrick and open-source solutionknowledgearoundsalesorganization, understandingofsolution,ecosystem, and experience with partnerleadgeneration. In this role, you will work directly withInsight’s services and solution teamsto ensure ourbrand isfavorablyshowcasedacrossDatabricks, andopen-sourcesolution areas and sales segments. We work incoordination with allfacetsof our company including sales,delivery,nationalpractice, legal and finance teams. Ourpartners(Databricks, GitHub, Hashi, Redis)and internal teammates rely onour servicescosellteamto employ strategies and tactics thathelp grow our cloud and services business. This role willalignto the US and will require collaborationwithsolution area teamswithin Microsoft,such as Azure Apps and Infrastructure, Azure Data and AI, and Security. The role will alsorequire alignment to both Enterprise and SMCC customersegments andIndustry. You will get to: Execute formal co-sellprograms withDatabricks and open-source solution partners. Representyourassigned Solution Area(s) and Sales Segment(s)onbehalf of the Insight’sCo-sell team,to drive business development efforts through the partner channel yielding new businessinto our sales funnel. Communicate and network effectively within the partner’s(Databricks and open-source solution partners)organization, whetherit’sthe business units,Account Teams, SolutionTeamsor Executive Leadership. Evangelize Insightto partnersandcommunicate how Insight’s solutions align. Work closely with Insight’ssalesteammatestofacilitatea positive and favorable partner relationship rhythmacross the US,serving as primary executor on strategic and tactical duties. Assist with Account Planning,incentiveprograms,and propensity alignment. Industry background/alignment – present andadvocateInsight solution services. Perform status reviews, pipeline activity, wins topartnersand provide internal reports to stakeholders. Serve aspointpersonforpartner events and initiatives. Be comfortable presenting in frontaudiencesof all sizesselling Insight’s capabilities and market differentiators. Build strong and healthy relationships with all members of Insight’sandpartnerteamsto support rhythm, consistent messagingand top of mind presence with the partner community. Work withInsight’s assigned channel partnerrepsto ensure partner impact isproperly measuredin geo. Maintain partner portals by proactively entering/sharing pipelines Elevate Insight as Databricks, GitHub,Hashiand/or Redis#1 partner. What were looking for: 5+ years in partner ecosystem, preferably with experience working with Microsoft, Databricks, GitHub,Hashior Redis. Understanding ofMicrosoft cloud solutions includingDatabricks, GitHub,Hashior Redis. Prior workingrelationships with Microsoft, Databricks, GitHub,Hashior Redis.. Experience working for or withMicrosoft managed services providers (MSPs) orsystems integrator (SI)services partners. In-depth knowledge ofMicrosoft’sor Databrickspartner,salesand specialist team organizational structures. Ability toidentifyactionable insights from ambiguous and sometimes limited information. Excellent presentation and meeting organization skills – must be able to present to groups Ability tomultitaskand work in afast pacedmulti-faceted environment. Must be a self-starter with the ability to structure days and activities on your own. Experience leading successful direct partner and client communications. Must be organized,detail oriented, flexible, and able to prioritize multiple projects with short deadlines with minimal supervision.
