Location:

• Alexandria, LA

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Rotating schedule with varied shift times: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, or 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Every other weekend required

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure safe and effective workflow
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to individualize dosing plans
• Utilize healthcare IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis to support daily operations

Desired Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in good standing
• BLS certification via AHA
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred, with strong clinical and medication management skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records and automated dispensing systems
