Harrison Little Learners values strong family partnerships and open communication to create a positive, inclusive community for all learners.\nRole Description The Preschool Teacher at Harrison Little Learners will design and implement developmentally appropriate lessons that support early learning across language, math, science, and social-emotional domains. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing classroom materials, leading small and large group activities, guiding play-based learning, and monitoring children’s progress through observation and documentation. The teacher will maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive classroom, communicate regularly with families, and collaborate with colleagues and support staff. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delaware City, DE, requiring active participation in staff meetings, school events, and ongoing training.\nQualifications\n\n\n Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education, with experience supporting preschool and kindergarten-age children.\n Ability to create and implement effective Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development aligned with developmental milestones.\n Excellent Communication skills for engaging children, collaborating with colleagues, and building relationships with families.\n Relevant education such as an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n Knowledge of child development, classroom management, and age-appropriate instructional strategies.\n Patience, empathy, and the ability to foster an inclusive, respectful learning environment for all children.\n CPR/First Aid certification and familiarity with health and safety guidelines in early learning settings (or willingness to obtain).\n
