Overview TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Aurora, Colorado. Position: Pediatric Operating Room RN • Department: OR • Location: Aurora, CO • Duration: 14 weeks • Hours: 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, days • Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Assist with moving and positioning of patient. Manage care of patient in the OR according to hospital policy. Ensure all patient paperwork is completed prior to procedure. Monitor for signs and symptoms of impaired gas exchange related to anesthesia. Remain by the patient\'s side until anesthesia has been successfully induced. Qualifications & Requirements Required: 2 years of Pediatric OR or acute care RN experience; ACLS, BLS, PALS; ability to stand and walk for long periods; ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds at times; ability to move or lift patients; exposure to typical OR hazards (chemicals, infectious diseases) in the operating room environment.
