We are seeking an accomplished Senior Vice President of Operations to lead that engine and elevate operational excellence across a growing financial institution. The Opportunity The SVP of Operations serves as a key member of executive leadership, overseeing the daily operational functions of the bank while driving innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role combines strategic vision with hands‑on leadership, ensuring operational infrastructure keeps pace with business growth and evolving customer expectations. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, lending teams, compliance, technology, finance, and branch operations to create a seamless banking experience while maintaining the highest standards of risk management and operational integrity. What You'll Do Strategic Leadership Develop and execute enterprise-wide operational strategies aligned with organizational goals. Partner with executive leadership to support growth initiatives, acquisitions, and expansion efforts. Lead operational planning, budgeting, and resource allocation activities. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and service excellence. Operations Management Oversee deposit operations, loan operations, branch support, treasury operations, payment systems, and back‑office functions. Ensure operational workflows remain efficient, scalable, and customer‑centric. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and technology enhancements. Drive operational performance metrics and service‑level objectives across departments. Regulatory & Risk Oversight Maintain compliance with all applicable banking regulations, policies, and procedures. Partner with Compliance, Audit, and Risk Management teams to strengthen operational controls. Ensure operational readiness for audits, examinations, and regulatory reviews. Mitigate operational risk through proactive monitoring and process enhancements. Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop high‑performing operational leaders and teams. Build succession plans and leadership development initiatives. Promote employee engagement, professional growth, and operational excellence throughout the organization. Technology & Innovation Champion digital transformation initiatives and operational modernization efforts. Collaborate with technology teams to improve systems, workflows, and customer experience. Evaluate emerging technologies and implement solutions that improve efficiency and scalability. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive banking operations leadership experience. Strong knowledge of retail banking, commercial banking, deposit operations, loan servicing, treasury management, and operational risk management. Demonstrated success leading large operational teams and complex banking environments. Deep understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices. Proven experience driving process improvement and operational transformation initiatives. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
