Per diem on your card the day you leave. Your own room. We drive.

Job Details: 

• Not reimbursed in three weeks. Not sharing a room with a guy you met that morning. Not your vehicle, not your fuel.
• $18–$25/hour depending on experience, plus overtime. Paid every other Friday.
• Where you start depends on what you bring. We have a defined pay ladder and we promote off it — raises come with skill, not with time served.
• Travel is required. Read this twice.
• Where: Arizona and the surrounding Southwest — mostly Nevada, New Mexico, and Southern California, occasionally further.
• When: Monday through Friday, roughly half the month, with occasional weekend work. About 45 hours on travel weeks; home weeks you're out of our Tempe fabrication plant and local sites.
• There is no local-only version of this job. If you can't be away overnight on a regular basis, we'd rather you know now than three weeks in.
• Coming off outage or pipeline work? You already know the road. The difference here: steady year-round W-2 work instead of six weeks on and four weeks waiting for the next shutdown. Benefits, 401(k) match, and a ladder you can actually climb.
• Learn a finish trade. Not a warehouse job.
• We're not a delivery outfit. Our installers don't load trucks between jobs or cover warehouse shifts.
• You'd work on a crew of two to four — usually three. Same guys, travel together, own the job start to finish. Not a body on a twenty-man site.

What you'd install:

• Hoods and wall flashing, ovens, fryers, ranges, prep tables — set, leveled, anchored.
• Walk-in coolers and freezers — panel systems, doors, hardware, sealed.
• Millwork, cabinetry, casework, booth and seating packages — scribed and fit to field conditions.
• Stainless field welds and polishing.
• Demo and disposal of existing equipment on remodels.
• Scissor lifts and forklifts (we train and certify you).

Working from placement drawings, specs, and rough-in dimensions. Daily cleanup and punch list before turnover — this is a finish trade and the details are the job.

The work isn't the same twice.

Restaurants from quick-service to fine dining. National chain rollouts. Hotels and resorts. Casinos. Stadiums and arenas. Airports. Hospitals and healthcare. Schools and universities. Fire stations, military, government. Industrial and corporate dining. Design-build concepts from the ground up.

A stadium kitchen isn't a fire station isn't a hospital. You learn a building, solve what the drawing didn't, and move to something different.

Is this you?

• Be honest with yourself. All six need to be a yes.
• You've used hand and power tools on a job site, in a shop, or in the field — for work, not around the house
• You can read a tape measure in fractions without stopping to think about it
• You've held a physical job: on your feet all day, lifting 70 lbs regularly, in heat and cold
• You can be away from home overnight, Monday through Friday, about half of every month
• You have a valid driver's license and a clean record
• You own basic hand tools, or you'll have them before your first day

If any of those is a no, this isn't the job. We'd rather tell you now than waste your week and ours.

What you bring: 

Previous construction or trade experience is required. Commercial kitchen experience is not — that part we'll teach you.

• Overnight travel, Mon–Fri, about half the month. Non-negotiable.
• Hands-on experience in construction, a skilled trade, or comparable mechanical work.
• Reliable transportation to our Tempe fabrication plant.
• Valid driver's license, clean record, insurable under company policy.
• Basic hand tools — drill/impact, sockets and wrenches, level, tape, square, utility knife, snips, caulk gun, mallet, bag. Full list before your first day.
• HS diploma or GED, or equivalent military or practical experience.
• Lift 70 lbs, push 100 lbs, climb ladders and lifts, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, keep your balance on uneven ground, work indoors and out in any weather.

Coming from another trade? Millwork and cabinet installers, finish carpenters, welders, casework and fixture installers, commercial remodel crews, auto and diesel mechanics, and military maintenance backgrounds all transfer. If you've scribed a countertop or laid a clean bead, you're closer than you think.

We'll train: blueprint reading, forklift and lift certification, stainless work, everything kitchen-specific.

• Crews travel in a company vehicle — you don't put miles on your own. All large and specialty tools — welders, plasma cutters, lifts. PPE. 
• Paid training and certifications you keep. 
• We pay for your Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (required for school and fire station work — costs you nothing).
