What You’ll Do

As a State Farm Agent Account Rep-Sales Team Member , your primary focus is to drive agency growth, retention, and sales goals . You’ll help our customers by offering insurance and financial products that protect what matters most, including:

• Homes, cars, and property
• Business insurance and business protection
• Life, health, and retirement income
• Alliance banking products

You’ll grow the agency by:

• Engaging new prospects through phone and email
• Converting conversations into sales through consistent follow-up (follow-up is key)
• Building strong relationships in the community and through referrals

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business and build referral relationships
• Present our services and solutions during client touchpoints
• Bring new business prospects to closure
• Retain clients by maintaining strong relationship-based service
• Identify, develop, and convert new clients (referrals and/or cold calling)
• Educate clients on State Farm and our agency value, service, and offerings
• Service existing customers and assist with new applications
• Maintain accurate reports, records, and policy documentation
• Process applications and make policy changes when needed
• Maintain regular contact with clients and answer questions promptly

Requirements

• A VALID PROPERTY & CASUALTY (P&C) INSURANCE LICENSE REQUIRED - (Life & Health will also be required.)
• Previous insurance sales experience is preferred (incentive/commission sales exp is a plus)
• Prior experience with State Farm products is preferred
• We'll only consider candidates who have a genuine willingness to learn and are coachable

Note: This position is with a local State Farm agent's office, not State Farm Companies.

NOTE: Depending on candidate's skill set, similar experiences, education, insurance licenses, and prior experience, this could be PART-TIME, FULL-TIME or PART-TIME WORKING INTO FULL TIME.
