Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a physician assistant in an emergency department or urgent care setting (urgent care PA, ED PA, or similar)
• Board-certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant (PA) - Advanced Practice certification
• Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced urgent care and emergency environments
• Local candidates only (Atlanta metro / Gwinnett County preferred; must be able to commute to Duluth or Jonesboro)

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services for low-to-moderate acuity patients in an urgent care / ED-adjacent setting
• Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and initiate appropriate treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary clinical staff
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and maintain patient safety standards
• Document clinical encounters accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records
