Our reputation is built on quality, and that quality depends on every order arriving exactly as it should.We're looking for an experienced Picker/Packer to join the shipping team at our flagship New York branch. In this role, you'll be hands-on with some of the finest food products in the world — picking orders, packing them with care, and preparing shipments for restaurants and home chefs across the country.This is a detail-driven position. Our products are delicate, perishable, and high-value, and our customers expect perfection. The right candidate takes pride in accuracy, treats every item like it matters (because it does), and thrives in a fast-moving early-morning environment.What You'll Do:Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, following order specificationsHandle delicate, perishable, and high-value food products with proper care and food safety practicesPack orders with appropriate insulation, cold packs, and protective materials to ensure products arrive in pristine conditionCreate and verify shipping labels with a high degree of accuracyDouble-check order contents against pick lists before sealing shipmentsMaintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work areaCommunicate proactively with the shipping team about inventory discrepancies, product quality concerns, or order issuesSupport the broader shipping team during peak periods and holiday rushesWhat We're Looking For:2+ years of experience in picking, packing, fulfillment, or warehouse operations — food industry experience strongly preferredDemonstrated understanding of careful product handling, especially with perishable or fragile goodsStrong attention to detail and a track record of accuracy in order fulfillment and label creationComfort working in refrigerated/cold environmentsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periodsReliable, punctual, and comfortable with an early morning start timeTeam player with clear communication skillsFood handler's certification a plus (or willingness to obtain one)Schedule & Compensation:Full-time, early morning shift (orders must be packed and ready for same-day carrier pickup)$20–$25/hour, based on experienceCompensation Details:Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $25.00)Benefits & Perks: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, 401kRequired Skills:Attention to Quality ControlTime ManagementProblem Solving SkillsAdaptability in Fast Paced EnvironmentsCustomer Service OrientationCollaboration With Team MembersOrganizational SkillsAbility to Work Independently
