An opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to contribute expert clinical and operational support within a hospital setting. This role focuses on inpatient pharmacy functions, ensuring safe, accurate medication management in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Location: Los Gatos, CA Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each Variable days and afternoon shifts Some weekend coverage required Duration: 13-week contract starting ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to provide pharmaceutical consultation and optimize patient care
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy information system to support medication management and documentation

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current California pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Availability for full-time schedule including variable days, afternoons, and occasional weekends
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential
• Ability to work within budgetary constraints while delivering quality care
