Overview $2K SIGN ON BONUS Valley Dental Associates is looking for a Dental Assistant in Owings Mill, Maryland to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Position Overview:
As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. - Competitive hourly pay $25Min-$28Max
- $2K SIGN ON BONUS
- Part time: Tuesday 7:15-3:30, Wednesday 7:15-3:30pm, Friday 7:15-3:30pm
- Support for continuing education and professional development
- Modern office with advanced dental technology
- Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
- Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
- 1 year on-the-job-experience
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant - Required
- X-Ray certification - Required
- Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
- High school diploma or equivalent
