Clinical Nurse II, C8 Cardiothoracic Surgery, 36 Hours/Days

Position Overview Department/Unit: Post Cardiothoracic Surgery - C8. Work Shift: Day (United States of America). Salary Range: $83,200.00 - $93,184.00. Responsibilities Coordinating patient care based on the nursing process and ongoing evaluation of treatment plans, factoring in the unique age, developmental, and sociocultural needs of patients. Assessing, planning, directing, implementing, and managing the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care, with a focus on progress toward discharge, including transitions within the acute care stay. Delivering and coordinating the patient care provided by the caregiving team, ensuring competent and compassionate care for all patients, referring facilities, and hospital staff. Ensuring that access to sensitive information is limited and that data protection measures are followed in accordance with Albany Med Health System policies and New York State statutes. Qualifications and Advancement Registered Professional Nurse license in good standing, eligible to participate in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP). Must progress from novice to competent within a specialty, with the opportunity to apply for advancement to proficient or expert status as outlined in NPAP.
