An exciting opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists to support a large, progressive hospital’s pharmacy department. This role focuses on inpatient pharmacy services within a well-established 500-bed medical center serving a dynamic patient population.

Location:

• Based in a major hospital setting in Visalia, CA

Schedule:

• Variable days or afternoons
• 10-hour shifts

Contract Duration:

• 13 weeks or longer
• Immediate start

Key Responsibilities:

• Verification of medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety
• Supervision and coordination of pharmacy technicians
• Provide pharmacokinetic assessments and consultations
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapies
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy information system for documentation and order processing

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current California Pharmacy license is required
• Demonstrated experience in an inpatient pharmacy environment
• Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy system preferred but not mandatory
• Full-time availability to cover variable schedules within the hospital’s operational framework
