Night-Shift Lab Data Entry Associate

Lab Assistant (Data Entry Representative I - SP) Location: Tucker, GA. Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 1:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Pay and Incentives Pay range: $17.75+ per hour. Candidates may be eligible for a 10% shift differential on some or all second‑shift hours and a 15% shift differential on third‑shift hours. Additional details will be provided if an offer is extended. Salary offers are determined by skills, training, experience, education, certifications, and market factors. Successful candidates may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus. The role emphasizes productivity and quality standards in a production environment. Responsibilities Determine and verify client account numbers, patient demographics and order codes in the Laboratory Information System (LIS). Accurately perform all functions in a timely manner, including data entry of requisition information. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations at all times. Work in a fast‑paced environment while meeting quality and production standards. Demonstrate detail‑oriented, independent work habits and collaborate effectively with team members. Learn and understand all job duties of the Data Entry Representative I and how functions fit together in Specimen Processing. Comprehend and apply compliance policies related to Specimen Processing. Achieve 100% productivity rate within 6 months. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Work Experience Prior experience in a data‑entry role within a production environment. Physical & Mental Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods. Ability to visually interpret information. Core Skills Solid organizational skills. Ability to transcribe and determine appropriate order codes and account numbers. Independent and collaborative work style; effective communication at all levels. Ability to maintain composure under pressure. Adherence to Quest Diagnostics core values, safety, confidentiality, and compliance policies. Upkeep of a clean and tidy work area. Strong attention to detail. Positive interpersonal skills and fostering a supportive environment. Education High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
