Powersports Technician
Join our team at Dillon Auto Group as a Powersports Technician, where you will work with a diverse range of premium products including BMW, Ducati, Yamaha, Polaris, and the full line of BRP products. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a large, multi-line dealership environment located in Boise, ID. You will be responsible for performing high-quality maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on some of the most respected powersports brands in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on powersports vehicles including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and personal watercraft from BMW, Ducati, Yamaha, Polaris, and BRP.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Stay current with technical training and product updates for all represented brands.
- Document all repairs and maintenance performed following dealership and manufacturer protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a powersports technician or similar mechanical role within multi-line dealerships preferred.
- Strong knowledge of BMW, Ducati, Yamaha, Polaris, and BRP powersports products and technology.
- Ability to use diagnostic and repair tools proficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism in customer interactions.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate test vehicles safely.
