Posted: Jul 16, 2026 Location: CASTLE DALE, UT 84513 Company: PacifiCorp General Purpose This position is responsible for functional oversight of a location or segment of a larger department. Under the direction of management, the incumbent implements business objectives, strategies, and plans, and oversees daily work functions, while supporting company programs and policies. Responsibilities Plan and manage the work of the functional group. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by observing safety and security procedures and reporting or correcting potentially unsafe conditions as outlined in the PacifiCorp Accident Prevention Manual. Ensure employees work safely and productively under management direction. Oversee represented employees within the guidelines of the applicable working agreement. Guide daily maintenance activities in the assigned area of a plant, in accordance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Implement business objectives, strategies, and plans approved by management. Establish, monitor, and control costs. Ensure the timely and reliable maintenance of the plant facility. Build and maintain cooperative relationships with other departments, including Administration, Engineering, and Operations. Perform project management responsibilities on unit outages, major overhauls, and other assigned projects. Prepare Scope of Work documents necessary to obtain firm pricing for contractor work. Lead the functional team; direct day‑to‑day activities, and provide guidance and recommendations. Provide input into employee performance reviews and flag performance and personnel issues for people manager resolution. Requirements The equivalent combination of journeymen electrician level experience and education or a bachelor’s degree in an applicable field. At least five years of electrical maintenance experience in a power plant or similar industrial facility. Flexibility and availability to respond to after‑hour emergencies. Commitment and dedication to manage projects or assignments through completion. Proficiency in computer applications for written communication, planning, budgeting, and project scheduling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate expectations, coach employees, give feedback, and collaborate with other departments. Leadership and teamwork skills to develop and promote cooperative relationships within the crew, other maintenance crews, and across departments. Ability to make timely decisions. Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers. Basic computer skills, including e‑mail and word processing. Preferences Supervisory skills, including the ability to implement action plans for achieving objectives and manage daily operations toward long‑term goals. Knowledge of power plant operations and plant systems. Familiarity with maintenance and preventative maintenance systems. Familiarity with precision maintenance practices. Technical knowledge and problem‑solving skills for electrical maintenance of equipment used in power generation. Experience with bargaining unit environments and collective bargaining agreements. Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools. Previous experience as an electrical maintenance supervisor at an industrial facility or power plant.
