Line Server PositionCreative Dining is hiring for a full-time Line Server for Calvin University.Location: 3201 Burton St SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546Schedule: Full time schedule.Requirement: 1-2 years of experience required.Pay Range: $17-18You'd make a great addition to our team! Provide fast, efficient service to all customers. Follow procedures and policies outlined by the company, such as portion control and plating procedures, while displaying a friendly and helpful attitude to all customers and fellow employees. Follow company guidelines regarding safety and sanitation.Essential Functions/ResponsibilitiesServe meals to students, customers, and/or guestsSet up station prior to meal serving time. Help set up the hot and cold menu items according to set-up diagrams. Know the name of each item being servedSet up condiments and other items appropriate for meal, checking the menu for proper itemsMake sure lines and pans are garnished as directed by managementResponsible for proper use of gloves, utensils, and portion size of each item, temperature of hot and cold food, and the attractive presentation of all food itemsCommunicate in a timely manner with the kitchen staff regarding the amount of food on hand and its qualityKeep sanitation levels up to company, state, and federal guidelines. Keep sanitizing solution behind the lines at all times.
