Job Description
The Brake Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating brake press machinery to shape and form metal components. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, routine maintenance of equipment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Operators will regularly use manual tools, automated systems, and computerized equipment to ensure precision and efficiency in production.
Responsibilities
- Set up brake press machinery according to specifications
- Operate brake press equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety regulations and compliance procedures
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals
- Utilize manual tools, automated systems, and computerized equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in machine operation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of machine operation and safety procedures
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
