Member Specialist

Position Summary Provides member service, maintains checkout and merchandise areas, resolves member issues, promotes Sam's Club products, guides members on self‑service technology, processes purchases, manages payments, returns, refunds and exchanges, follows safety and security standards, trains new associates, implements company policies, collaborates with teams, and upholds integrity and customer focus. Responsibilities Deliver member service and support during all customer interactions. Maintain checkout and merchandise zones in a safe, organized manner. Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges. Conduct safety sweeps and report unsafe situations. Assist with securing Sam's Club assets and reporting potential criminal activity. Train and mentor Member Frontline Services associates on processes and new technology. Execute emergency response procedures and maintain required documentation. Collaborate with managers and business partners to identify priorities and improvement opportunities. Preferred Qualifications: Retail experience operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register) and experience with mobile retail applications.
