About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and develop individualized care plans
• Implement and evaluate care plans, coordinating delivery across disciplines to promote patient health and a safe environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team to provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care
• Provide health education and information directly to patients, families, and treatment team members
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members using critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification required
• Minimum of two years of recent Labor and Delivery experience

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Prior acute care facility experience
