Dietary Aide

Job Location: Corpus Christi, TX 78404 Position Type: PRN Primary Responsibilities Follow the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals cleaned up. Essential Functions Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations. Prepare and serve beverages. Set up and pass trays for meal service. Stock snack cart. Buss tables and trays. Clean the kitchen work area. Wash dishes. Follow proper handwashing guidelines. Complete additional special projects or tasks assigned by the CDM or Executive Director. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate. Working in a commercial kitchen preferred. Physical Demands Lifting 1–25 lbs – Rarely. Lifting 25–50 lbs – Occasionally. Lifting 50+ lbs – Frequently. Carrying 1–25 lbs – Rarely.
