Primary Responsibilities
- Employ radiographic and CT imaging techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician analysis
- Collaborate with radiologists and the multidisciplinary team to ensure precise evaluations
- Accurately position patients and fine-tune equipment settings for optimal imaging results
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and the healthcare team
- Maintain meticulous records, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep documentation
- Deliver empathetic patient care throughout the imaging experience
- Foster a secure, tidy, and efficient imaging environment
Qualifications Needed
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Completion of an accredited radiology curriculum
Certification Requirements
- ARRT certification (in CT and/or Radiography)
- Active BLS certification or capability to secure it within 90 days of employment
