Our "updates, not upgrades" approach, user-centric design, and unwavering focus on customer success.Join our award-winning team in transforming an essential industry that powers communities across the Americas.The RoleWe're looking for a Project Manager who genuinely enjoys the craft of delivery - someone who gets energized by building strong client relationships, untangling complex problems, and making sure projects land on time and on budget.In this role, you'll lead enterprise SaaS implementations for utility clients across North America, serving as their trusted advisor from kickoff through go-live. You'll work closely with clients and internal teams, balancing competing priorities while keeping projects on track financially and operationally. This is a highly visible, client-facing role where your communication and leadership skills matter just as much as your project management chops.This role involves periodic travel to client sites across the US and Canada. You'll need to be able to travel freely between both countries.We evaluate candidates against our PM I-III competency framework throughout the process, so we can ensure the right leveling based on your experience. We typically hire at the PM I and PM II levels, though we do bring on PM IIIs when candidates bring direct utility industry experience to the table.What You'll Be Doing:Leading enterprise SaaS Implementations using SpryPoint's hybrid delivery methodologyBuilding and maintaining realistic project schedules with accurate task assignments, effort tracking, and clear ownershipManaging project financials end-to-end - budgets, revenue forecasting, effort estimation and variance trackingCoordinating with Professional Services and Development teams to balance workloads and define clear timelinesOwning scope change conversations with clients, evaluating impact against schedules, contingencies and acceptance criteriaKeeping project documentation detailed, accurate and aligned to SOW requirementsCommunicating confidently with client stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadershipNavigating resource allocation across a matrix organization with multiple concurrent projectsWhat You Bring:3+ years of enterprise project management experienceStrong financial acumen - you're comfortable owning a budget and forecasting effort and revenueFamiliarity with both waterfall and agile methodologies; hybrid experience is a plusExceptional communication and relationship-building skills - you can influence at every level, from project teams to the C-suiteA highly organized, detail-oriented approach with strong written and documentation skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple client-facing projects at oncePost-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in project management or business administrationPMP, CAPM, or a comparable designation (active or in progress) is an assetWhat Sets You Apart:Experience in or strong familiarity with the utilities industry (electric, water, wastewater, gas, sanitation) - this is required for PM III considerationFamiliarity with management information systems such as CIS, WAMS, MWM, or GISExperience with web-based portfolio or project management toolsInterview Process:We know your time is valuable, so we've designed a process that's transparent, efficient, and we hope genuinely enjoyable.Here's what to expect:Step 1: Recruiter Screening Conversation: A relaxed conversation to learn about your background, your goals, and what's drawing you to SpryPoint.Step 2: 45-Minute Interview with a PM Manager: A deeper dive into your delivery approach, project management experience and leadership style.Step 3: Project-Based Take-Home Assignment: A real-world scenario that lets you show how you think through structure, financials and problem-solving.
