Industrial Design Engineer I

Position Summary Provides conceptual design for specific projects and performs calculations, drawings and specifications relevant to HVAC, plumbing or other systems. Position Details Assists higher-level engineers in design tasks Performs basic calculations, drawings and specifications related to HVAC, plumbing, fire protection or other systems Performs basic calculations for a project, such as heating/cooling loads, equipment selection and sizing, friction loss calculations, hydraulic calculations, etc. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field PE license preferred Entry-level role Basic Knowledge of applicable systems design, such as fire suppression, HVAC, plumbing, etc. Ability to read basic mechanical and plumbing plans.
