Med Surge Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Three 12-hour shifts a week from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, including every other weekend and holidays as per hospital discretion. A 30-minute lunch break is provided.

We are seeking a Med Surge Registered Nurse (RN) for a 60-bed post-acute inpatient care hospital. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to provide quality patient care while working effectively in a team environment. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with established standards and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and postoperative care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care provided.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Previous experience in Med Surge nursing preferred.
