Polisher Position

The Polisher plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in delivering an exceptional fine dining experience. This position is responsible for ensuring all glassware, flatware, and service pieces are meticulously cleaned, polished, and presentation-ready in accordance with Marigold by Jean-Georges standards. Precision, attention to detail, and pride in excellence are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Polish and inspect all glassware, silverware, and service items to ensure spotless presentation.
2. Maintain proper handling and storage procedures for delicate and high-end service ware.
3. Support front-of-house team with timely replenishment of polished items.
4. Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of dish and storage areas.
5. Identify and remove damaged or flawed items from service circulation.
6. Adhere to sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fine dining or hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
