Civil Site Development Group Manager

Civil / Land Development Group Manager – North Carolina Join the Civil Site/ Land Development team at Benesch and help advance our goal of building connected, sustainable communities through thoughtful land development, community infrastructure, and recreation improvements across the Carolinas and Southeast. Our team delivers high‑impact work in municipal infrastructure, educational campus development, and commercial site design, shaping how communities grow. When joining the team you will work closely with a collaborative group that supports planning, layout, SD/DD/CD design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration for a wide range of public and private clients. You’ll provide strategic and operational leadership for our North Carolina practice, guiding multidisciplinary teams, strengthening key client relationships, and supporting business development efforts. You will work closely with internal partners in landscape architecture, planning, transportation, structures, and more, leveraging the expertise of over 1200 Benesch professionals. This role is ideal for a senior leader who thrives in collaborative, growth‑oriented environments and wants to influence both project delivery and long‑term strategy. Reporting directly to the Division Manager, you will have a clear path for leadership advancement within an employee‑owned firm celebrating 80 years of impact. Location This full‑time hybrid role is based in our Charlotte office, with in‑office collaboration expected at least three days per week.
