Geriatrician

Blackford Talent is engaged on a new Geriatric Primary Care MD/DO role with a private non-profit organization in the Murrieta, CA area. This role is a Mon-Fri 8a-5p schedule (possible for a 32hr week schedule, also) where you'll run your own patient panel, providing care for seniors in a holistic environment. Panel sizes run a fraction of standard primary care, for those looking for a more intentional practice where you'll actually get to know your patients. What you'll do Full-scope geriatric care: diagnose, treat, prescribe, manage chronic and acute care Multimorbidity, dementia, functional decline, polypharmacy, advanced illness Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostics Refer out to specialists when a patient needs more than primary care can give Goals-of-care conversations, capacity assessments, POLST, and palliative principles worked into routine care What you need MD or DO License Board certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatrics Active California medical license (licenses in-process will also be considered) This is a great group with Clinician led leadership. #J-18808-Ljbffr
