Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. As a leading distributor of specialty coffee, commercial foodservice equipment, restaurant supplies, and smallwares throughout the Southeast, we rely on our warehouse team to ensure our customers receive the right products on time and in excellent condition.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining inventory accuracy and a clean, safe warehouse. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in a team environment, takes pride in their work, and is committed to providing exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders for delivery or shipment.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, inspect for damage, and accurately stock inventory.
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory for efficient order fulfillment.
• Load and unload delivery trucks using proper material handling techniques.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Rotate inventory and properly label products to ensure organization and product quality.
• Assist with assembling and preparing commercial equipment orders when required.
• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventories to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Report damaged merchandise, inventory discrepancies, or low stock levels to warehouse leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, including sweeping, removing debris, and keeping work areas free of hazards.
• Ensure customer orders are accurate, complete, and packaged securely to prevent damage during transport.
• Assist with stocking showroom inventory and preparing products for customer pickup.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff, delivery drivers, service technicians, and office personnel to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Provide excellent internal customer service by assisting coworkers with product identification and warehouse inventory.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and warehouse procedures.
• Assist in other warehouse and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or distribution experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred (or willingness to become certified).
• Experience working with commercial foodservice equipment or restaurant supplies is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience using inventory or warehouse management software are a plus.
• Ability to identify problems and recommend practical solutions.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Move larger equipment using dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts, or team lifting techniques.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
• Work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
