Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Location: Hawaii

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts - Days (0645 to 1915) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will float between various medical and surgical units, providing care as needed. The RN must possess an active Hawaii license upon the start of the assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests for immunity documentation will not be accepted. The role includes working with Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes.

Responsibilities:

• Float between medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units as required.
• Provide patient care and support according to established protocols.
• Utilize Meditech EMR and related equipment efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2-10 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Active Hawaii RN license required by the start of the assignment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Preferred certifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Procedural Sedation, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).
