Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Statement Audit Senior to join our audit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the audit process, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and providing valuable insights to clients. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, audit methodologies, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting. Review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards. Evaluate internal controls and identify areas of risk. Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and training as needed. Communicate effectively with clients to address issues and provide recommendations. Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management and clients. Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact audit procedures. Collaborate with other departments to support comprehensive service delivery. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent certification is required. 2-4 years of experience in financial statement auditing, preferably in a public accounting firm. Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and other regulatory requirements. Advanced degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
