We’re currently looking for an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) / Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support our Castle Dental team in Knoxville, TN . We’re especially interested in candidates with expanded-functions experience, but we also welcome experienced RDAs who bring strong clinical skills, upbeat energy, and a patient-first mindset. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment rooms following infection control protocols
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and update charts

Qualifications

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – required
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) - preferred
Dental radiology (X-ray) certification.
Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
Knowledge of dental terminology and infection control standards.
Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset.
