Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental needs and establish tailored Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP).

• Monitoring the progress and outcomes of children and families as a collaborative team member.
\n
• Providing coaching, strategies, and evidence-based practices to families, helping them facilitate their child’s developmental skills in natural environments.
\n
• Documenting all interactions and maintaining compliance with Federal and State regulations governing healthcare and early intervention services.
\n
• Building and nurturing rapport with families, ensuring a supportive and effective therapeutic environment.
\n
• Offering referrals to additional resources when necessary to support families beyond the clinical setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our work is on infants and toddlers who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Our LCSWs engage closely with these young clients to help them learn physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills during their critical early years. By addressing developmental concerns early on, we empower families to support their child’s growth effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate of Social Work is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the New Jersey Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver’s license is essential for visits to clients as required.

• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are crucial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
