Minimum Qualifications

• Educational Background: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Clinical Experience: Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and possession of a current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
• Licensing: An active SLP license in Pennsylvania is required to commence the assignment.
• Certifications: BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be necessary.
• Preferred Experience: Background in skilled nursing facilities is advantageous.
• Specialized Skills: Experience in evaluating and treating dysphagia, cognitive-communication disorders, and voice disorders is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation is preferred.

Assignment Overview

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift: Day shifts.
• Schedule: 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.
• Floating Requirement: The candidate may need to float to other facilities as necessary.
