This is a unique opportunity to become part of a new practice from day one while receiving paid training at one of our established sister offices . About the Role As a Dental Hygienist with us, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care, supporting preventive dentistry, and helping shape the culture of a brand‑new office. You’ll train at a nearby sister location to ensure you’re fully prepared before the Palm Bay office opens. Key Responsibilities Preventive hygiene care — Perform cleanings, periodontal therapy, and oral health assessments Patient education — Communicate treatment needs and promote long‑term oral health Digital charting — Maintain accurate electronic records Team collaboration — Support a positive, efficient, patient‑focused environment Technology use — Work with modern equipment in a fully updated clinical setting What We Offer Competitive compensation Paid training at a sister office Flexible scheduling options Continuing education support Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in FL and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation CPR Certification Preferred Experience Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
