The Production Planner is responsible for managing the full productionorder process for the Systems area (planning creation closing) and maintain the master backlog log. Handle material availability, warehouse transfers, shopfloor loading, customer ship dates, and order revisions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create and revise production orders (routings/BOMs/dates/assignments).
• Confirm material dates and verify availability.
• Release orders and prepare shopfloor packets.
• Update master log and file completed orders.
• Coordinate warehouse transfers, kits, shortages, and inventory needs.
• Support DMRs, stoppages, and material picking.
• Confirm hours and technically close orders.
• Communicate with Order Management, Production, Shipping, and Supply Chain.
• Track KPIs (hour variance, OTD, labor efficiency).
• Review/update lead times for Systems items.
• Lead weekly project review meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned and collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, Order Management, and Engineering/Design.

Education:

• Associate technical degree preferred.

Relevant Experience:

• 3-5 years in manufacturing/production planning.
• 3-5 years ERP use (SAP preferred).

Knowledge/Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
