About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of CVICU experience is required. License: Any active state RN license or compact license is accepted for submission. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment. - Experience with A-Lines, vents, drips, sheaths, dialysis, and ability to draw ABGs. - EPIC experience required. - Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips. Description: 36 or 48-hour shifts are available. Level 1 Trauma experience is preferred. Targeted patient ratios are 1:2. Traveler will be first to float at discretion. Traveler must be available to work every other weekend and holiday. Unit typically runs with 1:2 patient ratios. Floating may occur to support the nursing care team of the unit. Candidate must be comfortable floating with no restrictions or special requests. Local travelers are not accepted.
