OT - Occupational Therapist

Staff Occupational Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days with occasional Saturday.

The Staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for screening, evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for patients in various settings, including inpatient, Long Term Care, Alzheimer's, Home Health, and outpatient care. This role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary treatment team and adherence to State and Federal Regulations.

• Manage patient caseloads from screenings and evaluations through discharges.
• Actively participate in an Interdisciplinary Team approach to patient care.
• Provide necessary billing documentation.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other rehabilitation team members regarding treatment plans and patient responses.
• Counsel patients and families based on the degree of disability or impairment.
• Complete all required documentation thoroughly and in a timely manner.
• Participate in educational programs and in-service meetings.
• Maintain compliance with established policies, objectives, quality assurance programs, and safety standards.
• Attend meetings and in-service sessions as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
