Schedule: Day Shift 5x8-Hour 40hours/week

• Schedule: 5x8-hour day shifts

• On-Call: 5–7 call shifts per 7-week block

  • 2–4 weekend call shifts

• Callback/Holidays: Per unit needs

• Contract: 6-month contractors will be considered

• Experience: 2 years required

• License: NYS License required or must be obtainable before start

• Certifications:

  • ARRT – Required

  • BLS – Required (AHA only)

  • VIR Certification – Preferred

• Responsibilities:

  • Perform Interventional Radiology procedures and assist Radiologists

  • Prepare and instruct patients for examinations

  • Select appropriate exposure factors and position patients

  • Produce diagnostic-quality radiologic images

  • Operate IR equipment and report malfunctions

  • Complete procedures efficiently and assist with room turnover

  • Use HIS, RIS and PACS systems

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and medication security

  • Provide technical support to physicians and hospital staff

• Additional: Must demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, flexibility, compassion, and awareness of patient rights.
