Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities

Kforce's client in the West Bend, WI area is looking for an Accounting Assistant. This position will support the accounting team with all day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure accuracy of all information as it relates to AR/AP. This position will report to the Director of Finance and Administration.Responsibilities:

• AR/AP
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Assist in Month End Close and Reporting
• Assist in streamlining accounting functions to be more efficient, and reduce/eliminate need for duplicate data entry among various software platforms

Skills

• Associates degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with general ledger account reconciliation
• Manufacturing or related industry experience is a plus
• Working Conditions: Onsite

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
