ER Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Start Date: 10/26/2026

End Date: 01/25/2027

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

Hrs/week: 36 hours

Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI (preferred)

Experience: No minimum required, relevant ER experience preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $53.60/hr

Pay Package: Discussed upon application

Weekly Pay: Via direct deposit

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a busy ER
• Assess patient conditions and prioritize treatment based on acuity
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
• Respond effectively to emergency situations, including crisis events and critical patient needs
• Follow hospital protocols and safety procedures at all times

What You Need

Required:

• Valid RN license for Louisiana or appropriate compact licensure
• Basic life support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pentagospelation (PALS), and CPI certifications preferred but not mandatory
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends on an alternating basis

Preferred:

• Previous ER or acute care experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a calm, professional demeanor
