The Assembler supports e-fulfillment warehouse implementation projects by building mechanical components and subassemblies to precise specifications. You will interpret blueprints and assembly instructions, use hand and power tools, and ensure that all assembled components meet quality and measurement standards. This role plays a key part in delivering efficient, reliable warehouse systems by focusing on accuracy, safety, and consistent execution in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Study assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists to prepare for each job and understand the required work.
• Gather and organize all necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials before beginning assembly tasks.
• Position parts and subassemblies accurately using templates, jigs, or by reading and interpreting measurements.
• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies by ensuring correct fit and securely fastening all parts.
• Verify completed components against specifications by measuring and inspecting dimensions and alignment.
• Identify and resolve assembly issues by adjusting dimensions or configurations to meet specifications and notifying supervision when additional resources or guidance are needed.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on tools and equipment by following manufacturer instructions and reporting any malfunctions for repair.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area by following established procedures, rules, and regulations at all times.
• Monitor and maintain supplies inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, and assisting with ordering and verifying receipt of materials.
• Use equipment and materials efficiently to minimize waste and conserve resources while achieving production goals.
• Accurately complete production and quality forms or documentation to record work performed and maintain traceability.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to overall team objectives by supporting related tasks as needed.

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for mechanical assembly tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly instructions, and parts lists.
• Experience with mechanical assembly, including positioning, fitting, and fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Capability to use tape measures and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure components meet specifications.
• Familiarity with production, assembly line, or manufacturing processes in an industrial environment.
• Basic troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve assembly or fit issues.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, rules, and regulations in a production setting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, assembly, and documentation.
• Capability to perform preventive maintenance tasks on tools and equipment by following manufacturer guidelines.
• Physical ability to perform hands-on assembly work, including standing for extended periods and handling mechanical components.

• Experience working in construction, warehouse implementation, or similar mechanical installation environments.
• Background in general labor or trades work involving mechanical components and tools.
• Comfort working with sub-assemblies and complex mechanical systems in a production or project-based setting.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a diversified workforce of tradespeople and project personnel.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervision regarding issues, needs, or process improvements.

Work Environment

This role operates in a production and assembly environment that supports e-fulfillment warehouse implementation projects. You will work primarily with mechanical components using hand and power tools, tape measures, and other standard assembly equipment in a hands-on, industrial setting. The standard schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing a four-day workweek with extended shifts. The workspace emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization, with established procedures and regulations guiding daily operations. You will collaborate closely with other tradespeople and project personnel in a structured, process-driven environment focused on delivering high-quality results.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Sparks, NV.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
